| | Do you CVS? Free Money at CVS drug store - help me figure it out! | | CVS drug store has this program where you buy stuff and get rebates nad the stuff is free or nearly free. You get ECB's on receipts or soemthing. I tried it while back and the "free money" receipt things, expired in 6 days so I wasn't able to use them ...forget the exact issue but it was confusing enough that I didn't go back. I do Walgreens EasySaver Catalog - do about $25 every month - that is easy, but this CVS seems rather complicated....Anyone have a handle on it? you know the CVS 101? I found a site that talks about it, but htere is no place to ask questions, and although I could probably figure on my own how to work my end of it, I can't figure how the ECB's work....any experience CVS'ers care to share their knowledge? | We are going on a 150 dollar free shopping spree at our local drug store | | I finally reached the level need to be able to go to the Shoppers Drug Mart and get $150 worth of free stuff. I am so excited. You get point on everything except prescriptions, stamps and bus tickets. Sometimes they have a 20X the points weekend. They did two weekends ago and I went and stocked up on some stuff I needed. It was enough to give me the free stuff. I am going to have so much fun. Does your drugstore offer anything like this? | |

| | Old home remedies. | | Why is it so difficult to buy home remedies at the so-called chemists?Ask for basic products like hydrogen peroxide, epsom salts, castor oil, etc and they say "there's no call for it". I think what that really means is that there isn't HUGE PROFIT in it. I hate the taste of a lot of the strong mouthwashes, especially corsodyl which makes me heave, and my dentist told me to get some hydrogen peroxide to use as a mouthwash. The chemist said they don't stock it any more and tried to insist I bought a £5 bottle of mouthwash instead. I eventually found the hydrogen peroxide from an on-line supplier but it makes me mad that effective and cheap treatments are becoming nearly impossible to get. | |
